Top of Page

Welcome to my website! I am a Soul Singer, Songwriter, and Musician first. I am currently a Solo Performer; Voice and 12 String Acoustic Guitar, with occasional Harmonica. The style of music varies, according to the expressive needs of each song. I am influenced by a wide range of styles and performers that I grew up listening to, and I am excited about creating the essence of larger arrangements, using only my voice and my guitar. Overall, musical genres include; Americana, Spiritual, Rock, Blues, Old School R&B, Soul, Jazz, Folk, Reggae and Island. I have been in many bands, and have made recordings, both as a Musician, and as a Recording Engineer. You can hear (and buy) some of my songs, and see my discography, history and performance schedule here. I am also an Artist, and my (and my wife's) Art can be viewed here as well. The overall intent of all of the Musical and Artistic Creations here is HEALING, for ourselves, for each other, and for the World. I hope that you enjoy our creations, and come back often. We are always in the process of creating something new.

"If you want to be given a performance that will change your life, this is it. It is not a simple performance, though it is a singular singer/musician with only talent to guide him. You will be taken into a much larger sphere, where you will feel growth and change beyond your wildest dreams. It is not the usual performance act, but it is an act that will change your life forever."

"The way to Sacred Peace is a long one for some. Alex has travelled that road toward Sacred Peace for a long time, and at great personal expense. He has given up many seemingly great opportunities to hold onto a dream of Sacred Peace. The songs Alex has chosen, to write, sing and perform, are all about his journey along the road towards Sacred Peace. To listen to Alex Kash is to walk a mile in those shoes. This may be painful, joyful, or funny, or all 3 and more, but it is always transformational and uplifting in a solid and permanent sense. The music and the performance are both priceless, though the cost is often small, or not at all. Reasons to listen to Alex Kash are many. Uppermost of these though, is the reason of wanting to walk a few steps on the road towards Sacred Peace. It is a continuum, this road."

I have just written music for a TV/Theatre musical in San Francisco...Alice and the Wonderland Revue written by San Francisco playwright Everett Alexander is a poignant tale of hopes lost and found when a young Alice struggles to find her way home from the New Orleans Super Dome in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

"It is our desire, with every aspect of our music to be within the presense of Light and Love, a force much greater than ourselves."-Alex Kash and Bethany Dalton-Kash
