Bethany Dalton-Kash's Art Gallery
Bethany Dalton-Kash was born in Pennsylvania, and grew
up surrounded and inspired by working farms, fine Shaker and Amish crafts,
and quilts there. In the 1970's she moved to Oregon where she co-founded
the Wy'East Artisan's Guild in 1978. The Artisan's Guild was a 60 member
Arts organization which ran a gallery and put on a number of shows around
the greater Portland area. (This organization still exists as a vital
organization today.)
During this time, she also worked as assistant to the Curator of the Timberline
Lodge Museum. Originally a WPA works project, during the Roosevelt administration,
the Lodge contains thousands of Depression era metalwork, woodwork, fiber
arts, furniture, stained glass, lineoleum cuts, and paintings. Bethany
has sold her artwork in shops and galleries since the age of 20. Always
inspired by the history, culture, arts, music, nature, and humanity that
is around her, reflections can be seen of Pennsylvania, Oregon, California,
and Florida in her work.
Currently she lives in the South Florida area, where she has worked with
Alex on the Side by Side series, and whatever inspires her in her own
work. Since realizing she is a Channel, it has been her inspiration to
work with the Light to learn art.

Growth" is inspired by the patterns of growth in community or families.
I wanted to show how it can be influencing but, also harmonizing. It is
